The Liberal Lie, The Conservative Truth

Exposing the Liberal Lie through current events and history. “Republicans believe every day is the Fourth of July, but the democrats believe every day is April 15.” ****** "We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we may always be free." RONALD REAGAN

What is Victory

Last Thursday as I was listening to Col. Oliver North host an afternoon talk show, he proposed the question, "What is your definition of victory in the war on terror?" I began thinking about the meaning behind this simple yet complicated question. First I began contimplating what those liberal Bush bashers consider victory. The first thought was victory for them is the defeat of our president, which in turn would bring about the end by default to the war on terror. But real democrats actual intentions in the never ending onslaught against the president is the defeat of our way of life. If they were to once again gain power in Washington through the Presidency or a majority in the house or senate, the true purpose of this onslaught would then become painfully clear as the gradual erosion of everything we hold dear as Americans would begin. Our liberties, our freedom and our standing in the world as the lone super-power would dissappear. European socialism and facism would replace capitolism as our way of life. The United Nations would control our foriegn affairs and the very military that this very day fights and insures our freedom. The terrorists who changed an election in Spain would control through various means our country. So once again I ask the question, "What is Victory?" If you look through our history, you will find examples that prove that victory took place when President Bush declared after September 11, 2001 that the United States would defeat terroism. Taking a stand for right in a just cause is victory. On July 4, 1776 when our forefathers declared to King George that "We hold these truths to be self evident....that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states," victory was declared and the American Revolution was a proclimation of that victory! When President Bush said "you are either with us or with the terrorist," victory in the war on terror was declared! Every soldiers sacrifice, each who have given, "the last full measure of devotion," proclaim that victory! Every dictator who falls, every terrorist who is captured or killed proclaim that victory! Every oppressed man, women or child who is liberated proclaim that victory! So to the liberal democrats who would aid our enemy with their words, who would strive to weaken our great nation, who would give our country away to those who would in any way due us harm, along with President Bush I proclaim that victory is our and the truth and justice that we know as The United States of America will fly liberties banner throughout the world and the fire from freedoms torch will never be extinguished and we will always be as President Reagan so profoundly proclaimed, "the shining city on a hill" God Bless America!
