FRED THOMPSON DOMINATES IOWA DEBATE ...INSPITE OF MORON MODERATOR

Fred Thompson dominated the GOP Iowa debate in a strong and decisive manner inspite of an idiotic moderator who has no business being an Elementary School hall monitor much less a moderator for a Presidential debate.

Take special notice of two items in the video:

1. When Fred slammed the moderator on the Global Warming hand raising, the other candidates applauded his leadership.

2. The thumbs up monitor peaks with every answer.

Fred will get a lot of mileage from this one!

He kicked some Republican butt if you ask me. Everytime I hear him I like him more and more it that is possible. He is refreshing. His values are strong and he sticks buy them. Awesome!

Fred looks like a tired old man. He has campaigned like one too. Very lazy with his schedule and lethargic when he is before people.

At best, he is going to finish a distant third in Iowa - probably fourth.

He is barely registering any support in New Hampshire. I expect him to drop out after New Hampshire.

But if he stays in, he has no support in Michigan, Nevada, or Florida.

South Carolina is showing some signs of feeble life, but I doubt he will even be in the race at that point. He'll be out by mid January.

Time will tell Rob, time will tell. Remember only a few months back everyone thought Rudy was a lock. On the Dem side Hillary was being crowned as late as October and she has dropped huge since then.

This one is up in the air and as I mentioned in my Sinday Commentary the GOP could be decided at the convention.

Ken, I would agree that he had a chance if he wasn't so darn lazy. The frontrunners for both parties are flawed candidates. The reason Obama and Huckabee have surged is because they are working hard and building organizations and networks that will help them win.

After all of the cutesy flirting Thompson did when he was pretending that he wasn't yet a candidate, he has been a disaster of a candidate. I'd be surprised if he stays in the race after New Hampshire.

The reason he was so good as a non-candidate was because he didn't have to do any work. Once he got in, he thought he could still get by and it didn't work.
